Andrew is a co-founder of Plutogroup, he works to ensure a client balance between big brand work and entrepreneurial projects–identifying opportunities to cross-pollinate the patience of large with the fearlessness of small and arrive where true insight is found.
Andrew studied finance, economics and organizational behaviour at Dalhousie University. His unusual career has produced innovative work in several fields including software, design, media, food and tech. Favourite projects include: pioneering online brand community Hotspex, the award-winning Juxtapose Cards, GiantFM’s controversial scripted morning show, Buddha Dog, “Canada’s Best Hotdog”, and Google Open Kitchen+.
Andrew is happiest at the intersection of food and technology; with his wife Rebecca, and boys Jack and Liam.
Laura is a co-founder of Plutogroup, a graphic designer/creative director with a “maker” mindset. She always has some sort entrepreneurial idea or passion project on the go.
Laura studied design and fine arts at Cooper Union NYC. She has spent her career growing up in small design boutiques, tech start-ups, and advertising. Laura’s design work spans across many platforms, from large-scale integrated advertising campaigns, packaging, branding to digital. Her work has been recognized by Communication Arts, Applied Arts, Digital Marketing Awards, Coupe Magazine, RGD, ADC Design Sphere Awards.
Laura is a passionate about all things design, nurturing the next generation of designers, collecting vintage signs, the colour pink and her family; son Harry and husband Anthony.
